In June 2026, the Bayard Borchestra earned 1st Place Jazz Band with a Superior Rating. The Bayard Borchestra also received Top Overall Middle School/Junior High Ensemble at the 2026 Music in the Parks Festival at Hershey Park!

On April 8–9, 2025, Bayard School students excelled at the Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference, showcasing their talents in STEM competitions, workshops, and interactive exhibits.

In 2020, the Bayard School received the Emerging Champion Award for their work in recognizing trauma-informed care and best practices for students.
In 2020, Bayard Middle School competed in the National TSA competition. Bayard Middle School placed 1st in the middle school flight endurance event.
