Who We Serve
The Bayard School serves a diverse student and staff population and is proud to be part of the westside community in Wilmington, Delaware. Approximately 61% of our students are African-American, 31% Hispanic or Latino, 3% white, 4% Multi-Racial, <1% Asian-American, <1%Native American and <1% Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander.
Bayard Excellence
The Bayard School is home to the Bayard Brchestra, an award-winning middle school band and orchestra ensemble known for its amazing drum line. We are also a multiple-time winner at the Delaware TSA State Leadership Conference.
